Pengalaman Best~

Last week,10hb-12hb Disember 2011,we're as a Seketariat Rakan Muda have to attend this programme "Youth Defined : Shape Our Future" 3D2N in The Palace of Golden Horses, Sri Kembangan.

This programme was organized by myHarapan. myHarapan [“my hope” or “harapan ku”] is a Youth Trust Foundation that supports youth and youth projects that contribute to the social economy of Malaysia by providing platforms and opportunities.

There were a lots of student from IPTA and IPTS in this programme and most of them were chinese and indian. We're using English language as a way to communicate with others races even though they can speak in malay "sikit-sikitun". When there is Q &; A session, they will be the first one that ask a question. We're feel challenged with this situation. Huhu.

I got some advice from cousin : "never be too shy 2join in on d conversation. Ppl who r malu x bertempat or easily influencd with d norm (complacent), wil nvr maju. Nuff said"

Saturday, we have lunch with CEO Pemandu and dinner with Pengarah myHarapan.

Performance Management & Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) was formally established on the 16th of September, 2009 and is a unit under the Prime Minister’s Department. PEMANDU’s main role and objective is to oversee the implementation, assess the progress, facilitate as well as support the delivery and drive the progress of the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).

Sunday morning, we have a talk about GTP and ETP. GTP is a Government Tranformation Programme and ETP is a Economic Transformation Programme.

Sunday evening, we're divided into 15 groups which is based on NKRA (National Key Result Area) and NKEA (National Key Economic Area). Every group have to brainstorm an idea in how we as youth can help the government to ensure this NKRA and NKEA can achieving its goal of becoming developed nation by 2020. Then, we have to write a proposal and make a presentation in front of myHarapan crew, and they will choose the best proposal and give to the Prime Minister to be implement in Malaysia.

Monday morning, discussion, preparing slideshow, preparing proposal, make a presentation. Monday evening, jalan2 amek gambar [cantik pemandangan kat sana]. Monday night, we have a summit dinner with PM.

And I come out with my conclusion that,

Jangan terlampau rasa selesa dengan environment di USIM, yang mana semua pelajarnya melayu dan faham islam. When you come to the real world, you will know that we're not strong enough to beat them in term of language, ideas and brave!

It's such an advantage when you are from Islamic school, Islamic university and have an Islamic environment, and then you can manipulate all those people around you. Indirectly you brought up the name of Islam.

Best bila kita dapat tahu pandangan dan persepsi dari kaca mata orang lain tentang sesuatu perkara. Gembira bila jumpa dapat kawan-kawan baru daripada universiti yang berbeza. Kita dah besar, dah x boleh nak mengharap sesuatu untuk datang bergolek, tapi kena berusaha untuk dapatkan. 


Meskipun pergi program kerajaan, tapi hati tetap pada yang satu..haha
